The Dukes is the only producing theatre in the Lancashire area and is the oldest cinema in Lancaster, operating since 1971.

The Dukes is a home for artists to create and connect; we reach out beyond our building into communities and new spaces, and through working with our partnerships, put culture and the arts at the heart of the Lancaster City region.
