Sometimes I actually play the piano! While I've been preparing some bigger video releases (details below), I posted this video yesterday of a Chopin recital I gave a few years back, complete with score & commentary: https://youtu.be/szU_IxMOag4
I’m excited to officially announce partnerships with the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, the Glenn Gould Foundation, and Aspen Music School & Festival. Plus, a blast from the past at Tonebase. All of these collaborations will result in YouTube videos this summer. Here's a tentative schedule:
This channel:
June 15 – How Pianists Train for an International Competition (ft. Bachauer competitors)
June 21 – Eavesdropping on a Private Phone Call with Glenn Gould (ft. Tim Page)
Tonebase Piano channel:
June 17 – Yunchan Lim's Rach 3 Evolution

Please excuse the delay! The last month has been a handful: gave a talk at NYU about classical piano YouTubing and saw you-know-who at Carnegie. Then the following day saw maybe the exact opposite kind of performance by John Mortensen at Rice U in Houston, where I also stumbled upon all of Hans von Bülow's fingerings for one of my favorite Chopin Nocturnes. Also, watched a funny movie: do you recognize it?
But spent most of my time getting the ball rolling on several cool collaborations I'll be making content for... Stay tuned!
