LAST NIGHT I attended the @adobe Create Now event. If you saw my creative operations you would know it’s all Adobe. So this was a great event to learn some tips and tricks on software I use in Adobe Creative Cloud and software I should use.

Two things I want to dive into immediately:
✨ Use the distraction tool in Photoshop
✨ Explore Adobe Express because after last night I’m like what am I doing and why am I not using this

Thank you Adobe for the invite even though I wasn’t able to get food before the event started and had to leave afterwards to above paying for additional parking 🤣.

Oh and yes I was cold yesterday. I may be a mid southerner now 🤣.

If you attended the Adobe event, what were some of your takeaways?! Comment below ⬇️!

HORSEBACK RIDING INTO THE SUNSET IN ESSAOUIRA MOROCCO 🇲🇦

Sometimes I do things that scare me when I travel. Despite how comfortable I look in these photos, whenever I first get on a horse 🐎 I am terrified. I am terrified because I know the horse is in control to an extent and I’m not an expert. But the two times I’ve been on a horse, I talk to them enough that we become besties 🤣.

My horse Aladin was a charmer. Beautiful horse who I got along with EXCEPT when people would drive by with ATVs that scared him. Those were even scarier times for me. Luckily the guide was able to run up and hold him down.

Also he wanted to get a good idea to run fast when he saw another horse galloping by. I had to lean down and tell him not today 🤣.

But all in all, I enjoyed the sunset ride along the beach in Essaouira with The Sophisticated Life and Experience Morocco.

What are some things you have done while traveling that terrified you? Comment below ⬇️!

TACO 🌮 & MARGARITA FESTIVAL was one of the moves from this past weekend. And listen all the tequila was needed after this last week 🤣.

The festival took place at the Battery and partnered with Live! At the Battery restaurant. There were a few games outside and one food truck. And Live! had great drinks 🍹 with nice music.

Here are some thoughts on this festival:
✨ Tickets 🎟️ were $25 a piece before taxes and I felt I got my money worth considering the strength of the margaritas (2 margaritas came with the ticket).

✨ I wish the space for the festival was bigger to allow for more activities.

✨ And I was disappointed there was only one food truck which had an extremely long line.

✨ But being at the Battery is nice as you can always wander to other places there outside of the festival.

It was a good time to get out of the house a decompress that’s for sure. What did you do this weekend?

COME SEE INSIDE HEURE BLEUE ESSAOUIRA!

Upon our arrival to Essaouira 🇲🇦 with ‪@Thesophisticatedlife‬ and Experience Morocco, we checked into this riad Heure Bleue.

Here are some of my thoughts from this riad:
✨ This riad is an example of elegance.
✨ The riad gives me a vibe of a hotel experience mixed with a riad sense of style with French influence.
✨ Great location in the Medina of Essaouira and excellent staff.

Also, I learned this riad was built in the 18th century and transformed into an orphanage until the 1960s. The building was abandoned for about 30 years until the Azoulay family purchased it to renovate it into the riad that it is today. The riad opened in June 2004!

You may get a full tour of this riad here: https://youtu.be/TUI02qQb0Z8!

NEXT STOP…ESSAOUIRA MOROCCO 🇲🇦 with The Sophisticated Life and Experience Morocco.

Essaouira is a beautiful coastal city in Morocco which is about a 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Marrakech.

It was a great getaway from Marrakech as the hustle and bustle isn’t as fast and the temperatures are cooler there with the Atlantic Ocean 🌊 nearby.

As we made the road trip there, I definitely suffered as I get some motion sickness whenever sitting in the middle seat as well as my digestive still wasn’t 💯 (I suffer from IBS not related to the food there). But once we got closer there, my insides started to mend (thanks to Imodium and fresh air lol).

Here is what you see in the photos:

1️⃣ I’m sitting outside of Maalem Ali which is a silver shop inside of Essaouira. Beautiful 🤩 and authentic silver with workers who create silver under 4 different styles: Berber, Arabic, Jewish and Muslim. I picked up some new jewelry from there 😊.

2️⃣ Cats 🐈 are everywhere in Morocco minding their furry business.

3️⃣ Here the Berber women are making different products or Argan oil from food to cosmetics at a cooperative along our road trip to Essaouira.

4️⃣ Entrance to Le Val d’Argan which is a winery 🍷. Yes Morocco 🇲🇦 has vineyards!

5️⃣ I noticed this artwork after leaving the rooftop at Riad Pachavana Marrakech. I loved it. 🥰

IT WAS A HIGH TEA 🫖 DAY YESTERDAY!

Larissa and I have been out in Atlanta this past week like we’ve been on vacation 🤣 and that’s ok. But yesterday we FINALLY made it to tea at just add honey tea company!

When we first met, we wanted to have a girls day with tea. And that place that advertised afternoon tea DID NOT HAVE TEA 🤣. But fast forward to yesterday because Just Add Honey 🍯 made up for the other establishments downfall and then some.

This was my second time there and I loved 🥰 it just as much as the first except the parking situation. But at least they understood and know parking 🅿️ is a struggle there.

Also I’m glad I was finally able to wear this dress again but this time without leggings!

Do you enjoy afternoon tea or high tea time?
