The Word of God teaches us that not only has He chosen us, we are also required to freely and of our own volition choose to be his people. God chose us through the cross, the gospel and the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. We should voluntarily choose Him by unconditionally surrendering to his will; by repenting of our sins, trusting only Christ as our Saviour and calling upon Him daily.
āFor if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lordāsā.
