#soundtracks Alan Silvestri's track record in scoring terrible movies is almost Christopher Young/Jerry Goldsmith level. So what's the worst that he's been stuck with. Sadly I don't the room to fit "Reindeer Games", "The Bodyguard" et al. #alansilvestri If I could add an option for "other" I would. So put it in the comments. #filmusic

@skirwingle @miss80smoviesandmusic A happy reminder of the 1984 Olympics when ITV ran both "V" and the sequel and beat the BBC's Olympics coverage in the ratings. Happily I was back in the UK on holiday that summer and could see it/them.

Vale Douglass Fake of @IntradaCD do you have any idea of how poorer media music fans would be without his work? Or of what a kick it was to see his company's logo in a movie's end credits under the words "soundtrack available on" (which didn't happen nearly enough). Thank you for giving the deluxe treatment to Alan Silvestri's "Back To The Future", Bruce Broughton's "Silverado", Craig Safan's "The Last Starfighter" and Jerry Goldsmith's "Masada", ALL my gateways in other words. I apologise for not buying the expanded "Backdraft" directly from your store. #soundtracks #filmmusic I

This is how we kept a running tally of our physical musicbefore Discogs. And it still works today, because I still use notebooks. Plus no need to worry about the cloud playing up so your Excel spreadsheet or whatever)is inaccessible.

I wanted to keep from uploading any more excuses for videos until I was caught up with my physical music purchases (illustrated). But then I got tagged on #moviemusictag2024 #soundtracks @RetroReels

While waiting...A question of Danny Elfman fans in the light of a certain news story, and Intrada's upcoming 2-CD edition of "Nightbreed" will you still get it? Poll runs until the album goes on sale. #90ssoundtracks #physicalmedia @ErikWoodsCinSoundRadio @ianclark4643 @soundtrackswithbirdman @RetroReels

It's me, a disabled autistic guy usually talking about visual media music or whatever, with entirely unflashy videos generally made on my phone (hence the reversed image). My handle comes from what I'd have called my production company if I had one - a made-up name is more original than using your own, on a meaningful address or even the name of someone close to you. Hence Scatscar.
