Happy New Year Everyone!π₯³β¨2οΈβ£0οΈβ£2οΈβ£6οΈβ£β¨
Do you have any new years resolutions? If you want to learn more about birds this year, maybe even how to identify them just using your ears, then you're in luck!
The first two videos in my new series about how to learn birdsong are going live today. Over the next few months I'll be uploading regular videos all about learning how to identify individual species of British birds using just your ears πΆπ¦ββ¬π
Watch them all and come the spring you're going to be brilliant at birdwatching with your eyes closed!
Any support you can show these videos would be much appreciated π and I hope you find them useful!
Here's to a happy and nature-filled 2026 π

After eight months away, I am now back home and just in time to enjoy this beautiful spring weather βοΈ
Despite being sad that the time travelling is over, I am really happy to be back home and I can't wait to share some of the things I have been up to. Thank you for being patient and not leaving whilst I haven't been able to create videos! I hope to get really stuck into YouTube over the next few weeks, so expect new videos coming out soon. Some about my travels and some about the fantastic wildlife we get in the UK too!
Very glad to be back π¬π§π

One question I often get asked is, how do I get a job in wildlife conservation? π€π
I have been working in the environmental sector for several years now and many more years in various volunteering positions. It's a competitive industry to get into and I want to share what I've learnt, give advice, answer your questions and help you get your first job in conservation.
So what do you want to know? Do you have any questions about wildlife conservation?
What jobs are available, how to apply, interview advice, how to find new roles, where to volunteer, what knowledge and skills do I need etc etc...
Please leave any questions you have in the comments below π and thank you so much ππ
