Last night, I heard the news of the passing of Peter Holroyd from Australia, also known as Discovering Thailand, a YouTuber based in Chiang Mai. Peter had been in a serious motorcycle accident a few weeks ago and suffered some broken bones. I never met Peter in person, but he would message me, expressing how much he liked my channel and mentioning that he was also a YouTuber in Chiang Mai. I had been subscribed to Peter's channel for a long time; he had a great channel. When I learned he had an accident, I messaged him on Instagram. He was in high spirits and sent me pictures. When he left the hospital, he messaged me again, still in high spirits, saying how he was going to miss the attractive nurses. My last message to him was to take it easy at home and recover well.
Peter tried calling me on Instagram from the hospital. I didn't see the missed call until later that night. I never called him back; I sent a message instead. I will always regret that. He was in the hospital and probably needed someone to talk to. I'm so, so sorry, Peter.
I was so sad to hear the news last night, that he had some complications and sadly passed away.
You were a great guy and a top YouTuber. RIP Peter 🥲♥️ LEGEND

Part 2 of the Glamping trip will hopefully be up on New Years Day. It’s a bit late as It’s been hectic back in Chiang Mai , gridlock everywhere.
I won’t be doing a NYE vlog this year, it’s just thousands of people and fireworks. Same everywhere. I’ll be sitting back and drinking a few beers.

Had a day off filming today to catch up a bit, I got backlog footage coming out my ears. I've got some late Loy Kratong and nightlife footage from Phrae, which I wasn't going to use, but I'm putting it up tomorrow. Then we can keep rolling. Happy days, everyones a winner 👍

FINAL FLOOD UPDATE (maybe): My area is looking a lot better, yesterday was a full day clean up and today will be the same, but easier. The problem now is mud and dust, but the sun is shining and we on the home run to normality. I walked Lucille to the mechanic at 8am and she will take 3 days with the backlog of bikes. FLOOD UPDATE: Covered in shite with so much more to do. It’s going to take weeks in our place. We got so much more to do. The whole area is just people everywhere , all springing into action. My street is dry but I haven’t been out for 4 days. Lucille needs the mechanic but they’re all rushed off their feet. I hosed her down and will try and get her fixed in the next couple days. I had planned for a vlog today but this has been my family for so long and is more important to me.
Thank you for the hundreds of messages, I've still not got around to answering. It's times like this where I realize what we've built on this channel.
