Hey there detectives,
Wow, we've hit over 2,000 folks in this corner of the internet I proudly call my office. It's getting a bit cramped, huh? You guys are awesome, nothing else to say about it. But really, without getting too sappy, Square and I are super thankful :)
Lately, among the messages and mails, we've seen some real gems from you all. Projects that are off the charts, with a passion that's palpable. And the best part? You've made them all with RPG Maker. That makes us super happy and thrilled to make more tutorials.
And here's the dilemma: on one hand, Square wanted to fire off videos immediately, but on the other hand, I thought maybe it's better to take a breather. I think finding the right voiceover artist and planning our videos properly can help us give you content that's easy to understand and gets you pumped to start your own project.
We're working on the next videos, taking our time to do it right. We want each video to be a gem, something that makes you go, "Ah, so that's how it's done!"
I understand that waiting can be annoying, especially if you're working on a game and could use some help.
That's why we've come up with a solution.
We've set up a Discord server, "SideDustyOffice", specifically for those of you who want to create a sidescroller game on MV. The idea is to create a place where we can all chat together, exchanging ideas, advice, and why not, some screenshots of our work in progress.
It's not just a way to learn new things, but an extra opportunity to come together and push each other to do more! There's still so much to uncover about this game mechanic, so if you're interested in cracking this case with us, join in!
