đŸ”„The Love of God Never FailsđŸ”„

After reading Psalm 13, I wanted to send you a few words of encouragement that I gleaned from this blessed chapter.

King David penned, “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily?” (Psalm 13:1-2, NKJV). It sounds as if David felt that God had altogether left him to suffer, to wake up each day with a black cloud hanging over him. For a season, David spoke out of despair, “God, will this feeling of isolation go on forever? When will my prayers be answered?”

When troubles assail us, we sink under the pressure. Right now, someone reading these words is sinking under the awful pressure of a situation that seems to be unsolvable. They are on the verge of total despair, hoping for even the briefest break from their trial. They have formed one plan after another, trying to devise ways out of their trouble, but all those arrangements have failed. Now they have nothing else to think of, no workable solution. They are at the end of it all.

How upsetting it is to see a ray of hope, a bit of sunshine but then have despair once again set in. Keep in mind, David experienced the same struggles, and he was a man after God’s heart. David testified of having great trust in the Lord, yet he went through hard times too, as he describes in this psalm.

How did David arise from this pit of despair? “But I have trusted in your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me” (Psalm 13:5-6).

Let me share with you reasons to keep trusting God through your present trials. What kind of Father would feed all the creatures of the earth and yet neglect his children? Jesus exhorted us to “give no thought” to everyday needs and problems, “for he cares for you” (see Matthew 6:25-34). Truly, the Lord loves you, and he will not turn a deaf ear to your cries. Hold on to his promises. Wait on him patiently. He will never fail you.

đŸ”„Encouragement In Evil Times, Love Does Overcome EvilđŸ”„

Bless us with Love, O Merciful God; That we may Love as you Love! That we may show patience, tolerance, Kindness, caring, and love to all!

đŸ”„Everyone who loves me, even, those who don't, I Love You

By Samuel Wilson

God's love allows you to change and grow into the person He wants you to be. God loves you just as you are, but He also loves you enough to not let you stay how you are. He wants to see you grow and change for the better. He sent Jesus to die for your sins so this would be possible.

“When one has once fully entered the realm of love, the world — no matter how imperfect — becomes rich and beautiful, it consists solely of opportunities for love.”

“Love is the joy we get from God when we put His benefit and the benefit of another person before our own.”
“To love another person is to see the peace of God.”

“God's love supply is never empty.”

May your name be precious to us and bring us delight always. So your good, pleasing, and perfect will is accomplished in us and through us. Provide for us the food and care we need today. Forgive our sins as we forgive us those who sin against us.

“One of the major ways we love our neighbor as ourselves is by praying for them–by interceding for them.”
Proverbs 19:11 A man's insight gives him patience, and his virtue is to overlook an offense.

Luke 23:34 Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up His garments by casting lots.

Some ways to live and when we fail, get back up and fight on and don't care what they say about you, its what Jesus thinks of you that counts and always will in this life and the life to come and enjoy...

Romans 12:21 â–ș Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

đŸ”„Word of GodđŸ”„

Psalm 58:2 â–ș No, in your hearts you devise injustice; with your hands, you mete out violence on the earth.
Leviticus 19:18 â–ș You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Romans 12:20 â–ș Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

Song of Solomon 8:6,7 â–ș Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame

Leviticus 6:3 â–ș Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Exodus 23:4 â–ș If you encounter your enemy's stray ox or donkey, you must return it to him.

Proverbs 25:21 â–ș If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

Matthew 5:44 â–ș But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you

Proverbs 21:7 â–ș The violence of the wicked will sweep them away because they refuse to do what is just.

John 13:34 â–ș A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Exodus 23:4 â–ș “If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.

Matthew 5:44 â–ș But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

The first command was clear and absolute, unalterable and unchanging. But there was a loophole in the second--wiggle room if we do not love ourselves.

So at dinner, Jesus tightened the loop, closed the hole:'A new command I give you, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

Matthew 7:12 â–ș Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Brothers & Sisters “Of all powers, love is the most powerful and the most powerless. It is the most powerful because it alone can conquer that final and most impregnable stronghold which is the human heart. It is the most powerless because it can do nothing except by consent.

To say that love is God is romantic idealism. To say that God is love is either the last straw or the ultimate truth.

In the Christian sense, love is not primarily an emotion, but an act of the will. When Jesus us tells us to love our neighbors, he is not telling us to love them in the sense of responding to them with a cozy emotional feeling. You can as well produce a cozy emotional feeling as you can a yawn or a sneeze.

On the contrary, he is telling us to love our neighbors in the sense of being willing to work for their well-being even if it means sacrificing our own well-being to that end, even if it means just leaving them alone.

Thus in Jesus' terms, we can love our neighbors without necessarily liking them. In fact, liking them may stand in the way of loving them by making us overprotective sentimentalists instead of reasonably honest friends.

When Jesus talked to the Pharisees, he didn't say,

"There, there. Everything's going to be alright." He said, "You brood of vipers! How can you speak good when you are evil!" And he said that to them because he loved them.

1 Corinthians 13:13 â–ș So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Lots of Love Samuel Wilson

đŸ”„Surrender that Leads to TriumphđŸ”„

A triumphant church is rising up today, coming out of great trials of faith. This last-days church is emerging from long days of affliction and adversity. The Holy Spirit is at work bringing his people out of a reliance on themselves so that he can show himself strong.

Even if you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, you may today be facing a time of severe testing in your life. Things coming at you seem to be overwhelming, things that only God can do something about, and you realize that only he can bring you through. This is exactly where God wants you and where you will find peace. You are strongest when you let him take control.

We can rejoice in the knowledge that God is training and equipping people everywhere to be defenders of the faith. He needs people like you and me who have surrendered ourselves wholly to him. He is calling people who are fearless in the strength of the Lord and who will stand for righteousness.

As the Bible prophesied, nations are fighting against nation. Many even have factions within their borders that have been at war continuously for years, destroying the morale and hope of the people. In many countries, God’s people are experiencing suffering, afflictions and torture.

I am certain there is a divine eternal purpose in the intensity of these spiritual and physical battles now being endured in the body of Christ, but these people need our prayers. They need us to call upon God to rescue them from the enemy.

God will go to war on our behalf, but he does not use conventional warfare. He has never established armies of vengeful, hate-filled warriors, and he has never used carnal weapons. Instead, he pulls down strongholds by his mighty lovingkindness and tender mercies. His battle plan is simple. He wins hearts and minds with tender, merciful love.

When we storm heaven to deliver us from peril, he will answer! We can then stand together and say, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3, NKJV).

You Are Not Alone in the Battle

Numerous Christians, including pastors, have told me they are continually harassed by former sins. They say, “Brother Dave, if you only knew what I once did, you would understand why I’m so down. My sin still hangs over my head, and I battle constant guilt over it. I believe the Lord has forgiven me, that his blood is sufficient to cover my iniquity, but I don’t have the peace that comes from that knowledge.”

Others tell me, “I believe I’m forgiven, but my mind is continually bombarded with hellish thoughts. It can happen anywhere, even in church, and it makes me feel so unclean. I have a hard time believing I am pure in God’s sight.”

These believers forget that Satan also tempted Jesus with awful, ugly thoughts during his wilderness testing. Today, the devil sends little foxes into your life to make you think you’re hopeless, that God is mad at you. They inject thoughts into your mind meant to destroy your faith in the power of Christ’s blood over you.

Dear friend, you are not to listen to those mental invasions. You have to cut them off and cry, “Holy Spirit, I know you’re beside me. Help me!”

All who take up the cross and fight the good fight of faith are in a constant battle. We all face evil thoughts that come because of our past, because of rejection, or simply because we live in wicked, sensual times. Yet when we apply Christ’s blood to these roots of doubt, it reaches into every cell of our being, including our minds, and thoroughly cleanses us. That blood transfusion brings freedom and true rejoicing.

You are not alone in your struggle. He has sent you the Holy Spirit who knows how to deal with the enemy and free you from all bondage. He is the still, small voice that will guide and empower you through all your battles.

Pray with me: “Holy Spirit, I want to grow in spiritual fruitfulness. I want to be rid of all hypocrisy, and I want gentleness, patience and love. I know you love me in spite of my lack of these things.

So, stand by me and help me. Amen.”

Fine-Tuning Your Mind and Spirit

If there is one word that expresses God’s nature, it’s harmony. From the moment he spread out the heavens and filled the earth with life, every component worked together. We see this symphony all around us, from the stars to the jungles to the hidden caverns deep in the ocean.

It is the same with humans. God designed every part of us to work together in divine synchronicity. Today, even with our advanced knowledge, we have only scratched the surface of the interconnection between mind, body and spirit.

What we know for sure is that good, balanced health is up to us and that we are stronger in some areas than in others. Squeezing in time for physical exercise competes with my need to spend time with God. My phone and computer threaten me with mental overload, and I’m then stressed around my loved ones. Where do we find balance?

First, ask God to show you the areas in your life that need nourishment. Sometimes we even need to ask for desire and motivation. Ask for wisdom, for resources, for help from others. He is the source, so ask big! Scripture gives us a boost of faith: “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16, ESV).

Second, take it one step at a time. One phone call to encourage someone, ten minutes in prayer or a walk around the block are more beneficial than you think. It’s important to set realistic goals that give us confidence to move forward.

Third, reach out. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Asking for help honors God and gives others an opportunity to serve. People in leadership often struggle with this, feeling like they should always be the ones to help. It’s important to remember how much Jesus relied on his disciples and modeled relational living.

Don’t underestimate your value. You and I are exquisitely designed and worthy of care. As “instruments of righteousness” (see Romans 6:13), our lives are a song of praise to our creator. “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

đŸ”„When Sifting ComesđŸ”„

“And the Lord said, ‘Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat’” (Luke 22:31 NKJV).

Satan sifts only those who threaten his work. He goes after the tree with the most potential to bear fruit. Why was he so anxious to test Peter? Well, for three years Peter had been casting out devils and healing the sick. Satan had heard Jesus promise the disciples another baptism, one of Holy Ghost power and fire, and he trembled! Now the devil knew God’s ultimate plan for Peter. He realized that the past three years would be nothing compared to the greater works to come. Satan was searching for a weakness in Peter to build on that would destroy his faith.

Perhaps, like Peter, you are being shaken and sifted right now.

Don’t despair! Rejoice that you have such a bad reputation in hell. Satan never would have asked God’s permission to sift you unless you were a threat to him. He is sifting you because you play an important part in God’s kingdom in these last days. The greater your gifts and potential, the more severe your sifting will be.

When someone is going through the fire of sifting, what should those around him do? What did Jesus do about Peter’s imminent fall? He said to him, “I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren” (Luke 22:32).

I look at this wonderful example of Christ’s love and realize I know almost nothing about how to love those who fall. Jesus saw both the good and the bad in Peter and concluded, “This man is worth saving. Satan desires him, but I desire him more.”

Lord, give us that kind of love! When we see brothers and sisters heading for disaster, let us love them enough to reach out and say, “I am praying for you.”

Today we have yet another “It is written” with which we can do battle against Satan. It is this: “I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail.” You can tell the devil, “You may have gotten permission to sift me, to try to tear down my faith, but you need to know this: My Jesus is praying for me!”

đŸ”„Steps to overcome worryđŸ”„

'I know that you can do all things.' Job 42:2

Job lost his wealth, his health and his children. The book he wrote is a conversation between himself and God.

At the beginning of it, Job says, 'Hear now my argument' (Job 13:6 NIV). He is asking, 'Why has all this happened to me?'

At this point he is totally self-focused. But by the middle of his book, Job has grown spiritually and now he takes a different approach. Instead of reasoning, he decides to stand on God's word: 'But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread' (Job 23:10-12 NIV).

By the last chapter in his book, Job has decided to trust God completely: 'I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted...my ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you' (Job 42:2, 5 NIV).

Job has finally arrived at the place where he can say, 'I trust God; there is no need to worry!' After nine months of worrying, questioning and reasoning, he decides he doesn't need answers to all his questions, he only needs to know that God cares for him.

And his story ends in these words: 'The Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before' (Job 42:10 NIV).

There you have it; the steps to overcoming your worries!

When you feel drained

'He makes me to lie down in green pastures.' Psalm 23:2 NKJV

Even when you're living right and doing all the right things, life can still be draining. We have all received post addressed simply to 'The Occupant'.

Sometimes you're drained not because you did anything wrong, but because you happen to 'occupy' the planet. The combination of the world, the flesh and the devil will suck the spiritual vitality right out of you if you let them.

You try to pray, but no words come. You know you ought to read your Bible, but when you try to, the letters all run together and none of it makes sense.

And you don't want to listen to spiritual people, especially when you suspect they may be faking their positive viewpoints. You're just going through the spiritual motions, nodding and saying amen; yet in your soul, you're running on empty.

David, who had been a shepherd, said that God 'makes' us lie down. Why? Because, just like sheep, we would keep on wandering all over the place and wearing ourselves out. Note two things David says:

(1) 'He makes me to lie down in green pastures' (Psalm 23:2 NKJV). The word 'green' means 'fresh'. Each day you need a fresh encounter with God through prayer and a fresh intake of his word. Bread is not the only thing that can go stale; your spiritual life can, too.

(2) 'He leads me beside the still waters' (Psalm 23:2 NKJV). The word 'still' means you need times of quietness and reflection. 'Be still, and know that I am God' (Psalm 46:10 NKJV).

The only way to know God intimately, sense his leading, and draw on his strength is to 'be still'.

Lots of Love Samuel

10 Ways To Love

By Samuel Wilson

Some Points Enjoy.... 👉

“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” – 1 Peter 4:8
As Christians we are called to love others and to live by God’s example. Here are ten ways to love others and shine God’s light.

1. Give Without Expecting Anything In Return

We should give freely, without expecting anything in return. Give out of the kindness of your heart. Be generous to others because you want to, because you care for them. Do not expect anything in return.

“All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing.” - Proverbs 21:26

2. Trust Without Wavering

Trust with all your heart. Do not doubt. Have faith in everything that you do. Trust God in all circumstances. He has a plan and will see it through.

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” – 1 Corinthians 13:7

3. Forgive Without Punishing

We are all human and we all make mistakes. It is important to forgive one another. When you forgive, forgive fully. Do not forgive half-heartedly with wanting to punish someone. Forgive them and let it go.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” – Colossians 3:13-14

4. Listen Without Interrupting

When others are speaking, listen with intent. Do not just listen to answer, but listen to help one another. Listen to help others with their problems. Be there for the people that you care about. Do not interrupt others by answering. Listen to what they have to say and offer advice, do not give it when it is not asked for.

“Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.” – Proverbs 18:2
5. Enjoy Without Complaint

When you are given tasks, do not grumble or moan, put on a smile and do your task with gratitude and kindness. Complain less and be more thankful and appreciative of the tasks you are given, no matter the situation. The more thankful and positive you are, the more enjoyable the task will be.

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing” – Philippians 2:14

6. Answer Without Arguing

When having a conversation with others on a topic that you do not necessarily agree with, answer with kindness and respect. Do not raise your voice or get upset with the other person. Answer with respect and resolve the issue in a civil manner.

“Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.” – Proverbs 17:1

7. Keep Promises

When you make a promise, be sure to keep it. Do the things that you say you will. Make sure that your actions match your words. If your actions match your words, the people around you will trust you more and it will bring you closer to the people in your life.

“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips” – Psalm 89:34
8. Speak Without Accusing

When you get upset, do not act out of anger. Take a deep breath and a step back. Speak kindly and do not accuse one another. Resolve the issue and be sure to communicate well.

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,” – James 1:19

9. Be Patient In All Things

Have patience with others. When things get frustrating, have patience and understanding. Act out of love and kindness. Do to others as you would want them to do to you.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4
10. Learn To Let It Go

When you are angry or upset with someone, let it go. If the situation has past, then leave it in the past. Live in the present and do not hold a grudge against others. Love and appreciate them and do not hold them to their mistakes.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:31-32

Love is patient and kind. Do not hold grudges against others. Love is a choice that you can make every single day. Choose love and happiness and shine God’s light to others.
