To my Asian-American followers & friends, I hope you’re all doing okay and finding some time this weekend to take care of yourselves & take a break from social media if you need to. The loss the community has experienced this week is heartbreaking, and the response (or lack thereof) from most of our leaders has been appaling. Many do not want to call it what it is — a result of white supremacy, racism, and misogyny, among other issues, all of which must be named and condemned. I am so sorry for your loss and pain and, as I said, I hope you are able to take care of yourselves.
