On Episode #15 of the 'WTF Is' podcast, we spoke about climate change. In 2024, Bangalore saw a brutal April, the driest in 41 years with temperatures reaching up to 38.5 degrees! As someone who's grown up in Bangalore, this definitely wasn't the norm. It wasn't any different last year either, from heat and cold waves to cyclones, lightning, and heavy rain.

In our little way, let's actively try and help those making a difference. Sunita, Bhumi, Navroz, Mirik, and I are grateful to contribute 50 lakhs to the most voted charity.

The three shortlisted candidates are:

1. Garbage free India: Empowers individuals and communities to restore natural heritage and tackle climate change through responsible production, consumption, and waste management.

2. Biome Environmental Trust: Fosters ecological architecture, rainwater harvesting, and responsible land and water management. The organization envisions climate-resilient, ecologically caring, and socially just water systems. Their goal is knowledge-based solutions for all biomes.

3. Healing Himalayas: Aims to combat climate change through circular waste management solutions and protect the environment for future generations.
