The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program is an exciting opportunity for young professionals to experience Japan by working in the schools and local government offices there. Since it's inception in 1987 over 62,000 participants from more than 40 countries have participated, experiencing the vibrant life of Japan's cities, towns, and rural villages in a way that few foreigners have a chance to do. JET Program participants become cultural ambassadors, promoting globalization at the grassroots level, and leaving a lasting impact on their communities.
This YouTube Channel is hosted by the JET Program Program Office for the United States which manages the application process for U.S. citizens.
