With today's announcement from Roland, it is pretty clear they are sticking to this model of Fantom a while longer. The "new" Fantom EX is simply the same Fantom with the EX pre-installed, so you won't need to go through a terribly convoluted installation process, upon purchase.
What does that mean for the rest of us?
Nothing, really... unless you were hoping for some change in the hardware. Looks like it is 2019 to infinity 🧐
