It was in 2008 when James Cauty, a well-known British artist, presented his exhibition "Splatter" in a London gallery.
The works featured on "Splatter" are a pretty blunt exaggeration of the animated classics from Warner Brothers and MGM. Characters like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Silvestre, Tweety, the coyote and the roadrunner or Daffy Duck are put in situations just as violent as in the classic drawings but this time with an added blood, this way they get more drama incidentally satirizing these emblematic little characters.
The works that I will put next range from images and sculptures, to a video mounted by James Cauty himself that does not have any waste.
