They ask me about the transition from Hip Hop to Country Music- but considering I was born and raised in Alabama and still live here today- it doesn’t really feel like I’m straying far from who I am.. it feels more like I’m just letting the music take me back home
Thank you for listening to my music. regardless, if you have listened to it recently, if you used to listen to it all the time and hadn’t heard it in a while or if you listen to it every single day.. I just want to say thank you. This business isn’t easy. There are so many incredible artist out there that we compete with on a daily basis to try to keep peoples attention and keep them entertained. It can get really competitive and it can be a lot of fun at the same time, and one thing I cherish the most is being able to put my emotions out there and use music as an escape from everybody and from everything but yet somehow, it brings a lot of people to me, and takes me a lot of places- all because of those that were able to hear my music somehow someway, and relate to it in a way that resonates with them only because we are cut from the same cloth. if you have ever enjoyed my music, I want you to know that I’m never going to stop making music. I might change it up a little bit to make it interesting - I might reinvent myself from time to time just so I’m not bored making the same old music, but I want to be a writer for the rest of my life- and I want to sing it to you myself- I’ve got some interesting songs in the works that I’m excited to release this year. It’s taking me a little time trying to work out some kinks with the label that’s going to help me get it off the ground.. but soon as we put the pen to paper I’m planning releases
