Dear Community:
As a lifelong member of Alabama, I also consider Tennessee my second home. My father hails from this region, and I have spent most years there vacationing through these majestic mountains that most Southerners visit at some point during their lives. As most of you know, multiple counties in this area had emergency flood warnings yesterday that continued throughout last night. Homes, animals, roadways, cities, and lives were lost overnight. This is such a tragic situation. These mountain people have always welcomed us with open arms into their cities, towns, and landscape that is so very sacred to not just them, but the entire country. As a Christian, I have always prized high importance on COMMUNITY outreach. I am not seeing any media buzz this morning on what can be done to help the residents of any of these areas that have lost everything but the shirt on their back. So, no time like the present! Let’s band together and get something going. I will be glad to donate tangible items. How can we get this to these victims? Let’s get this community together and start helping. Feel free to share this post and organize relief.

FINALLY got the flooring done in the master bathroom. It turned out even more beautiful than we imagined! We’ve still got tons of work to do- painting, plumbing, and vanity work. See y’all soon!! ❤️

We got TILE!!!! Of course, it wasn’t what I first picked out. We’ve bounced around on so many decisions, it’s like a ping pong game with Forrest. Video coming tomorrow on the brand/color/installation. Any guesses? Take care and have a wonderful night! 😊👍

Please keep us in your prayers. We laid my step-grandfather to rest 4 weeks ago, and my grandmother passed away today. We are so heartbroken. Content may be held this week. Just wanted you all to know what’s going on. You’re family!
