Eclectic British singer-songwriter Kate Thomas’s new single "How did I get back here again" is a song that echoes back to an early style of jazz that was embodied by singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan. It combines that classic jazz feel with modern production and a nod to contemporary jazz artists such as Melody Gardot, Zaz and Madeleine Peyroux. Thomas known for her powerful and expressive vocals is quickly establishing herself at the well-known jazz and roots venues in and around London. Already performing headline shows at The Bulls Head Jazz Club, Green Note, Spice of Life, Toulouse Lautrec and The Nightjar to name but few. She was also selected to headline BBC Radio’s, Jumoke Fashola’s “Jazz Verse Jukebox” at her annual “Ones to Watch" Concert at Hoxton Hall.
