I wanted to ask a quick question to see how you would prefer my tutorials get structured in the face of a new issue I'm having with Uploading Tutorials.
YouTube is not allowing me to use covers and alternative version of songs as much as it used to when it comes to using music in my videos for us to tap dance to. Essentially it's much easier to have popular music on shorts than it is to have music on regular videos now.
I have two different solutions to the issue that will allow me to keep making tutorials but I wanted to get your input as to which one you think would work best. I also plan to try it both ways and see how you like it in real time. But for now, please answer this poll for me if you wouldn't mind as I start filming my Halloween/Holiday content:
Would you prefer -
Option 1: I release a video/short on Wednesdays that shows the dance being done to the original song or a cover of it and then release a tutorial on Saturdays that does not include the music but still is structured similarly to how I usually do it (learn a section and run it 3x and then learn more and add it, run 3x, etc.)
Option 2: I release a video/short on Wednesdays that shows the dance being done to the original song or a cover of it and then release a tutorial on Saturdays that is structured the way I always had it but using a similar copyright-free song that the dance fits to but is not exactly the song the dance is meant for.
I know both options are not the most ideal, but it's the best I can think of to continue to share these tutorials with you and use popular songs that you all would love to dance to.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! Mine was crazy as always, and Fall is shaping up to be even crazier! I have tons of gigs coming up and I wanted to let you all know where I'll be in case there's a chance we can run into each other and you can see a show or take a class!

My fall calendar is so full and I'm so grateful for it all! It does mean that I am going to have a hard time filming content, but I promise I will make sure to try to at least put out choreography tutorials on Saturdays and Mini-Tutorials and/or Vlogs on Tuesdays (and of course Shorts throughout the week).

Oh hi!
I wanted to let you all know that this week, there won't be a Saturday Tutorial release.
This is becuase I have a VERY SPECIAL tutorial coming out on MONDAY!
It's a weird day for a tutorial post on this channel, but I wanted to make sure it lined up with another channel's release as well! (Hint Hint). - (See photo for a bigger hint hint! --- Any guesses as to what's in store?)

TAPPY Holidays!!!
Thank you all SO much for being a part of the tap fam this year and I can't wait to tap with you all into 2024 and beyond!
This week, the week after Christmas, we're having a tiny break from the full legnth tutorials while I redo my studio setup a bit and take a much needed break from the craziness of my schedule. I have been going nonstop with performances and travel since August and it just feels so nice to stand still for a moment lol. I'm going to soak it in a bit so I come back refreshed and ready to take on the new year!
This week I'll still be posting Shorts tutorials and videos for you all, and then after New Year's Day we will be back to our regular schedule of new tutorial releases on Tuesdays and Saturdays with some shorts and other videos in between. :)
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are taking some time to relax and recharge before we head into the new year and make some beautiful noise together. :)

This weekend's choreography tutorial kicks off the Holiday content on this channel, and I'm so excited for what's in store! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Fall season and a super fun Halloween if you celebrate it!

Happy Summer!!
I hope everyone's summer has been going amazing!
Mine has been so stressful but good overall! I've had lots of shows and got even more coming up, I've been teaching full time and training a new dancer for my big upcoming show in Atlanta...it's been a LOT but a lot of awesome!
That being said, I hope you all have enjoyed the tutorials I've put out this summer. They have been so much fun to create and film!
I absolutely love getting to teach you all via YouTube, but I'd also LOVE the opportunity to tap with you in person one day!
That being said, if anyone is in the SLC area and/or planning to go to the Utah Tap Fest, let me know! I'm teaching a coupld of classes at this festival, and I'd love to connect with you while I'm there!
