From playing a bunch of the Honkai: Star Rail commercial pre-release build, I can say Mihoyo (hoyoverse) put a lot of effort into this as usual.
The simplest way I can describe it is: Genshin Impact + Final Fantasy + Star Trek = Honkai Star Rail.
I can't stress the Star Trek element enough. It's a turn based anime Star Trek from the Genshin developers basically :D #honkaistarrail #honkai #anime
