I accidentally erased the descriptions to ALL of my (over 500) videos. I lost all of the links for tools, videos and chapters. I'm SO sorry about this, I've been working on re-doing all of the video descriptions. It will take me a few weeks to update everything.
In the mean time, if you need a link to a video / tool that I mention, please comment on that video or send me a message and I will get that to you!

I want to step outside the box and try something new!
I pretty much stick to Doctored Mix recipes with American Buttercream and fondant decorations.
So I'm looking for some recommendations!
What new recipes / techniques can I put to the test?
It can be something you love and would like to see me try, or anything you've seen, but aren't quite sure how to make.

Looking for some advice...
I tend to film my cakes as I make them and post full cake decorating tutorials. But I'm finding that they don't get a lot of views, so it seems as there isn't a lot of interest. It's A LOT of work with filming / editing / optimizing and I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time focusing on that.

I've heard feedback that my videos are so specific with the themes, that people don't watch them because they don't have to make that specific cake. (Even though the techniques I show in the videos can be used for any theme / decorations.)

The videos end up being pretty long (15 min or more) and I feel that people really don't have the time to commit. The problem is, that when I post a picture of a cake, I always get comments asking if there will be a tutorial. So there are some people who want to see the full tutorials, but it doesn't seem like a lot.

What do you prefer? I know some of you don't make fondant decorations, so you're really not interested in that. It is a big part of what I do as most of my cakes are decorated with fondant. But I'm thinking that I should start focusing on shorter videos, cake basics, etc.

Any insight is appreciated!

I've been asked about my process a lot lately, so I want to post it here for everyone!

My Cake Baking / Freezing / Filling / Frosting Process

1. Bake the cake layers, wrap them in plastic wrap and place in freezer (not the refrigerator) overnight. How I bake cakes: https://youtu.be/6fEvJD8KPNM

2. Remove the wrapped layers from the freezer and leave on the countertop (still wrapped) to completely thaw, about 2-3 hours for smaller cakes and up to 4-5 hours for larger cakes. How I freeze and thaw cakes: https://youtu.be/w0ztL3YMIOs

3. Remove the plastic wrap and torte / fill the cakes. How I fill cakes: https://youtu.be/wN6yguNwtOM

4. Wrap the filled cake in plastic wrap and let them settle overnight at room temperature, not in the refrigerator or freezer. If you don't have enough time for them to settle, or if you have a perishable filling, do the technique I show in this video to speed up the settling process: youtube.com/shorts/2Dg2DxNa1VE

5. Remove the plastic wrap, crumb coat the cake and place the cake in the refrigerator for about 4 hours so the icing can solidify. Do not re-wrap in plastic.

6. Remove the crumb coated cake from the refrigerator and add the final coat of icing. How I Ice Smooth Buttercream Cakes: https://youtu.be/tTEb690qtJc

7. Refrigerate the cake until I'm ready to decorate. Do not re-wrap in plastic. My cake baking and decorating timeline: https://youtu.be/5Z985L46mHc

8. After I finish decorating, I will box it and wrap it up as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/k3uQY4z5pns

I hope that helps! watch video on watch page

Looking for honest opinions!
I've noticed a significant drop in views on my YouTube channel.
After looking at the analytics, I see that most people don't watch my full length cake decorating tutorials.
My most viewed videos are shorter and are about cake decorating basics, recipes, and troubleshooting.
Do you guys enjoy the full cake decorating tutorials or is it better for me to help you with the basics and things that can go wrong in the process?
What do you mostly search for and want to learn the most with cake decorating?

You guys are the best! Always helping me remember the names of the tools I use.
You know that horizontal line aluminum rolling pin I use all the time?
Someone told me it's the PME ribbed rolling pin.
Here's a link to it!

Hey guys! I have been reviewing my channel and am trying to figure out what type of content benefits you the most.
I've put out a poll before and many of you say that you really like the full cake decorating tutorials.
But I find that a lot of you tend to prefer content like recipes, cake basics, cake business, etc.
I'd love some feedback from you guys!
What would you like to learn about cake decorating?
What are the biggest issues you face?
Would you rather see more cake basics videos or do you enjoy the full cake decorating tutorials?
Do you prefer shorter videos that get to the point or longer, more detailed videos that thoroughly explain the process?
I appreciate anyone taking the time to answer! In the words of Jerry Maguire...Help me help you!!

I've gotten quite a few comments asking why I haven't posted full cake decorating tutorials in the last week or two.
I went on vacation and didn't have time to get them edited. But I have more coming, so stay tuned!
What content do you like seeing most on my channel?

If anyone has ordered the Wedding Bouquet flavoring and hasn't received it yet, there was a technical issue with PayPal. The shipping charges were not added to the order.
Sandra told me she contacted everyone, but many haven't responded. So she reached out to me and asked me to let you know to contact her if you don't receive your order.
