I read a couple of accusatory comments from yesterday's video, now private, and I wanted to just say that no, I didn't know about Melanie's instagram story on August 2nd and my intention was not to disrespect Melanie. I am sorry I made that mistake. I had no idea Mel said it was not about Oliver, and I made the video private as soon as I found out. I can only guess there was a relationship (that wasn't publicly known) between the one with Oliver and the one with Verde if it wasn't about Oliver.
My video was scripted in April or May back when the wiki claimed it was confirmed about Oliver Tree (the wiki has now since deleted it) and I believed it and uploaded long before I heard anything about this. At the time Mel's story was posted, I was on my therapist-ordered break from the Internet because of the hate mob I was getting/my hospitalization (just as I mentioned in my previous video). Now that people from my own audience are assuming I would do something like that on purpose, I feel worse than ever.
Please remember, guys, content creators are human beings. We miss things, especially when there's stuff going on in our lives. I make mistakes too, loads of them, which is unfortunate because I need your support and patience now more than ever. Please show me that Melanie Martinez fans are the kind people I always thought you were, and put yourself in my shoes as I remake this video a third time.
I'm scared to post anything at all now, because I get hate no matter what I do, but hopefully I can have something really cute out for you guys in time for Halloween that will really make everyone, especially 90s kids, smile. And if I don't get it out in time, you guys have a happy Halloween.

Hey guys, I need your help! You see, after speculating in my latest video that Evil is about Timothy Heller, Mel actually confirmed in an Insta story that it's about their last ex, probably Oliver. I didn't notice because I was working on it way back when all we had was Lollapalooza recordings. SOOOo now we have my first clickbait video, entirely on accident lmao. There are still parts of the video that are informative, as people tend to repeat patterns, and the song's lyrics fit both remarkably well. However, there are parts that make me facepalm in retrospect too, knowing it was about Oliver all along because I was sooo sure LMAO.
The video currently lives in purgatory on Patreon, with a pinned comment explaining the error. The speedpaint is of Cry Baby in fairy form.
