Well, "Santa" didn't come to our house today. He must have "known" that we are Christians and that he is not welcome! He must have "known" that we don't lie to people, especially our children. He must have "known" that we don't allow idols and God impostors in our house (omniscience, omnipresence, miracles, etc). π
I know, I know, our children have "missed out" on so much, right? They missed out on my wife and I lying to them for 7-10 years each. They missed out on their faith possibly being destroyed later on down the line, thinking that maybe we are lying to them about that too. And their imaginations will miss out on so much, because there aren't other things that they could use their imaginations on, right? And what will they ever do that will bring enjoyment and fun into their lives if they don't have an opportunity to "write to Santa" and live their lives as "nice boys and girls" in order to get good gifts from him?
Friends, Santa is a COUNTERFEIT "god." Don't deceive yourselves into believing that you are doing good for your child or that this "Santa" nonsense is "innocent." Lead your children in the Scriptures! Teach them to live lives that are pleasing to GOD, because He IS watching and will reward them according to their works, whether good or evil. Teach them to look forward to COMING OF JESUS. Teach them to be content with what they have, instead of covetous.

John 6:27 says, "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because the God the Father has set His seal on Him.β
Many of those who profess to be Christians, say something to the effect of, "Nothing that I do, can or will save me." or "I didn't do anything to be saved, so I can't do anything to 'lose my salvation.'" Such statements, completely contradict what Jesus said to the multitudes of people, in this one verse.
Jesus told them to "labor" for the food which "endures to everlasting life". The Greek word that is translated as "labor" is αΌΟγά΢ομαι (ergazomai) and it means, "to engage in activity that involves effort, work; to do or accomplish something through work, do, accomplish, carry out." One must DO SOMETHING in order to be saved!
One must DO SOMETHING in order to receive food which endures to everlasting life. One must DO SOMETHING to receive this from the Son of Man (Jesus). To say that one must DO NOTHING in order to be saved, is to have a theological system that Jesus knew absolutely NOTHING about.
Verses 28-29 make this even more clear:
"Then they said to Him, 'What shall we DO, that WE MAY WORK the works of God?' Jesus answered and said to them, 'This IS THE WORK of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." (emphasis mine)
NOTICE, that this is something that THEY MUST DO. God doesn't do it for them, they must do it. Buh bye, Calvinism.

Luke 12:15 says, "And He [Jesus] said to them, 'Take heed and beware of covetousness, for oneβs life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.'β
If any verse of Scripture is applicable during this time of the year, it's this one. Moth and rust will destroy things. Thieves will break in to your house and steal your things. Your things will wear out and need to be fixed and/or replaced.
Have you ever seen a U-Haul at a funeral? No? Either have I. Your stuff will not go with you when you die. When you die, you will not regret not having enough stuff.
Live everyday in light of eternity. Live everyday as if you'll be judged by a righteous God, because you will. Live everyday so that you won't regret it for all eternity. Follow and Obey Jesus! Don't be covetous and don't be a sinner!

Hello YouTube friends. My dear brother in Christ and fellow laborer in the gospel, Tracy Bays, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Tongue Cancer. He has some procedures coming up and it's very serious.
