It has come to my attention that the video I posted on 5-22-24 about the Clemson Island pottery I found has generated some confusion. I want to make something VERY clear...these artifacts are STILL in MY possession and were NOT donated the County Museum yet!! The intent was ALWAYS to research the items and then work with the Museum to give them a proper home. My video was merely to share my finds with my subscribers and enthusiasts and let them know where they would end up in the future. They will be donated and have all the necessary paperwork done at a time OF MY CHOOSING! NOTHING has been donated yet!

A little off subject of my channel, but had to post this. This is a picture I just took a few minutes ago from North East Pennsylvania of the Northern Lights. This is very rare to see here, but due to a very strong Solar storm today, the lights are visible a lot further south than usual. The lights are caused by solar particles slamming into our atmosphere and reacting with oxygen and nitrogen molecules. Solar storms this intense can cause problems here on earth, sometimes affecting our power grids, satellites, etc. Kind of rare to see here so I thought I'd share it here.
More metal detecting videos on the way soon!

In Pennsylvania where I'm at, we were just outside the path of totality for yesterday's solar eclipse. At peak time, we had 94% coverage. Unfortunately, we had a lot of cloud cover, but still managed a few glimpses through breaks in the clouds. Managed to get these 2 photos..what an awe inspiring event!

On Christmas Day in 1776, George Washington led 24000 men across the Delaware River into New Jersey, where German soldiers held the city of Trenton. Desperate for a morale building victory after a series of American losses that year, the surprise attack was successful....however, since he didn't have enough men to hold Trenton, American troops crossed back over the Delaware to Pennsylvania the following day.

Amateur archaeology, Native American Arrowhead and relic hunting in NE Pennsylvania, metal detecting, some other things thrown in. I am from the Wyoming Valley in Northeast PA, which is very rich in historical and prehistoric history. I spend a lot of time searching along the banks of the Susquehanna River, and added metal detecting in 2016. Decided to start making some videos to share my experiences and maybe learn some from others doing the same things.
