You have to intentionally choose joy or the enemy will intentionally project unhappiness. 🫶🏾 When you begin to be grateful for what God has done in every situation and circumstance, you start to see that the enemy has less room to oppress your mind. Choose joy today, and put your perspective on Gods goodness 🫶🏾

Hey Family,
I just wanted to say something that has been on my heart a few days. This walk with Christ will come with things that we as humans feel should just go away once we are saved. The truth is, life is still not always going to be easy even with the Lord. In fact, many of the Christians I know personally endure many trials and tribulations. Despite tribulations we have to choose Christ daily with the same intensity it took to follow Him in the beginning of our walk.
American Christianity has been portrayed and marketed similarly to self help and motivational techniques. True Christianity offers an opportunity to die to self and essentially live for Christ and His perfect will. While socially constructed religious Christianity has been conformed to fit and maintain our selfish nature.
It is so easy to get caught up in the idea that Christ is here to serve our needs versus us being called to serve Him and His Kingdom according to His perfect will…despite how difficult it can be.
I say that to lead to this point. Just because walking with Christ is at times difficult doesn’t make it any easier to live life without Him. Your life will never be perfect but it can be peaceful. With Christ you are promised a peace that surpasses all understanding. There is hope even in adversity. Keep your mind fixed and focused on things above and truly know that God has plans for you and those plans are not to harm you but to help you. Continue to submit your self and your thoughts to him daily just as consistently as you do your daily skincare routine. Let us continue to live a life of devotion even when it is not easy, trending, fun, or exciting. He deserves the praise and despite the season or the suffering… He is Good🙏🏽🫶🏾

The omission and/or complacency of Gods word in your life, is the reason why surrendering is so hard. When you read consistently, the stories of surrender in the word, you will naturally refuse to hold on to anything that God is requesting you to lay down.

Salvation is for you by grace, not about you. When you make salvation about you, Jesus is assigned a back seat in your faith and your life.
Faith was created so we would believe in Him. Faith has been manipulated to believe for things.
