Hey everyone!
I am working to build up my second YouTube channel. As many of you may have picked up on, I am also a storm chaser and photographer. I spend a lot of time in the spring and summer months roaming the country chasing tornadoes and traveling as much as I can. I've also recently become addicted to seeing volcanic eruptions. In fact, in 10 days I am traveling to Guatemala to (hopefully) hike up and see Fuego erupting up close and personal. If you are interested in keeping up with my chasing and traveling endeavors, it would mean the absolute world to me if you went over and followed my other channel ( youtube.com/@spahn711 ). I might even start live streaming storm chases on occasion!
I cannot thank you all enough for the incredibly kind comments and love over these years. I can't wait to build up both of these channels into something beautiful. Never stop learning, traveling, and being you. - Mr. Spahn

Hello everyone,

First of all, I wanted to thank each and every one of you who have watched my content and subscribed to my channel. I am genuinely blown away by all of the support and the positive comments I have been getting, and I can't believe I am already over 2k subscribers. I run no ads on my videos; just knowing that you enjoy these lectures and have learned something means the world to me. Several people have asked what textbooks I use for my courses, so I will provide details on that at the end of this post.

I also wanted to give you an idea of what's to come. I intend to record an updated version of my Earth Science lecture on storms due to a technical error within the original video. I've improved the lecture quite a lot since then anyways. I will also be adding college physics 1 (algebra-based) lectures steadily throughout the semester, with the first of them hopefully coming within the next week or two. I have had requests to do other courses, but please understand that I simply do not have the time as I teach full time and chase storms during the spring and summer months. Still, I appreciate the interest! I'll do what I can when I can.

Below is information on the textbooks I use for my courses:
• College Physics 1&2: I use 'College Physics: A Strategic Approach,' 4th ed, by Knight, Jones, and Field. I also recommend 'College Physics,' 2nd edition, by Etkina, Planinsic, and Van Heuelen.
• Earth Science: I use 'Earth Science,' 15th ed, by Tarbuck and Lutgens. I also recommend 'Earth Science,' 2nd ed, by Marshak and Rauber.
• Astronomy: I use 'Universe,' 11th ed, by Geller, Freedman, and Kaufmann. I also recommend 'The Cosmic Perspective,' 8th ed, by Bennett, Donahue, Schneider, and Voit.

Thanks again, and never stop learning.
-Mr. Spahn
