I wanted to do this smoking underwater thing and he found a place in London which was this old seventies disco with coloured lights and a mini pool in the centre of it, which Iām sure they would fill with scantily dressed young ladies in a very Hefner seventies vibe. I went in this pool to get filmed and the lights had shorted and so I got quite a shock underwater as I was doing the filming, but that was quite fun that session.' - pg

As many of you might know, alongside the moon cycle of new music releases last year, we also started a Bandcamp subscription which allowed access to alternate mixes of the songs from i/o and companion videos from Peter giving a deep dive into the making of the music.Ā
So far this year we have been delving a bit more into the archives and have made available previously unreleased demo songs. This month we have dropped the first live songs from the 'Lunatics in the Big Room' show that took place at Real World Studios in November 2003. Maybe you were there?

Real World Studios won the Music Producers Guild āStudio of the Yearā Award for 2024.

RealWorld has gone through a number of different reincarnations but right now we have our old stalwarts who have been working with us for a long time and are doing an amazing job but weāve had a new injection of life and some super-smart, musical, able minds have come on board and are turning things around in wonderful ways and now getting heavily into immersive audio, not just as a means of making a fast buck, really trying to explore a new medium, so itās exciting times for us.
It feels a little bit like it did in the old days, at the beginning, and Iāve had very little to do with it. We have an amazing group of people now working with us so this is for all of them.
