This trip is always bittersweet for me & @KomotoVlogs because it’s our favorite trip that we look forward to every single year…but at the same time, it always feels like it marks the end of riding season. Obviously there’s still plenty of riding left in the year, but this always just feels like a “season send off” as we transition into fall, colder temps, and progressively less riding 🍂🍁
Either way, we had a BLAST as always! Tons of riding, memories made with good friends, and ZERO filming the entire time. Which wasn’t the plan, but is sometimes exactly what’s needed 😌
Pretty sure I got sick while we were there cause I’ve been dying on the couch since a day after we got home, but it was totally worth it as always 😁🤘🏻
Given that I’ve been sick all week, there’s no video ready for tomorrow, so instead I’ll be going live around (EDIT: I said I’d go live Sunday…but we’re still not feeling too hot. So I’ll be going live next week sometime instead. Stay tuned!)

Last week I had the opportunity to be one of the first in the U.S. to test out Honda’s brand new E-Clutch motorcycles! I spent a day testing this new tech on the CBR650R and CB650R, both on a track and some CRAZY mountain roads in Georgia.
I can’t WAIT for you guys to see the footage from the day, but it can’t be posted until Tuesday. So enjoy these couple photos for now, and I’ll see you Tuesday afternoon when the video drops!! 😬🤘🏻

Beaten and battered, @KomotoVlogs and I finally made it to Parkersburg, WV at 11:23 last night! And what a freaking ride it was 😳
It ended up being a 353 mile day over the course of about 9 hours. I’d say probably 6 hours on the bikes, 3 hours of gas stops, stretch stops, and contemplating our lives stops. We hit a decent amount of traffic in 100+ degree weather at the start, which was damn near enough to want to just turn around. But the last half of the ride it was in the 70’s with cloud cover as we rode into the sunset, which was sooo nice ☺️
Speaking of sunset…the last couple hours of the ride were at night. Pitch black country highway roads with no street lights, miles and miles of sketchy construction, a family of groundhogs that almost took us out, and more roadside deer than I could count. Definitely one of the most nerve wracking couple hours of riding in my decade of riding 😅
BUT WE MADE IT!! And Nina did it on a bike she’d only ridden once before, which we just finished building a few days prior. Oh…and she had no windscreen or wind protection. And I was getting absolutely thrashed by wind at certain points even with my fairing and heavier bike, so shout out to her for persevering! 💪🏻
All in all, that ride was one for the books, but it solidified for us that this type of riding is NOT our style. It’s just not what we love about riding at all. I’ll take 9 hours of scenic 45-50mph backroads, obscure coffee shop stops, and roadside photo ops ALL DAY. But just sitting there on the highway…restless…the same scenery repeating over and over…y’all can have that 😂 I can see why some of you like it so much…no so much us though lol
Anyway, thanks for reading my novel. Day of rest today, then @therideofalifetime’s birthday group ride tomorrow, then another 350+ miles home Sunday! Wish us luck! 🤘🏻

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2024 is in the books! And what a day it was for me and @KomotoVlogs! 🤵🏼♂️🤵🏼♀️🏍️🙌🏻
Together we raised over $500 towards men’s mental health and prostate cancer research and awareness, so THANK YOU to each and every one of you who donated to the cause!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The Annapolis ride raised over $9,000 this year, and DGR as a whole has raised over 52 MILLION DOLLARS since its inception in 2012 😳🤯 Such a rad way to raise money for such a great cause!
