in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
I made a guide on how to enable FSR4 in Cyberpunk 2077 by using OptiScaler on a RDNA4 GPU. Since it doesn't really fit on my YT channel, I've uploaded it on X: x.com/highyieldYT/status/1899086374923337834
RDNA4/Navi48 deep-dive coming soonish!
103 - 15
AMD's Navi48 GPU packs a massive 53.9 billion transistor in a rather small 356.5 mm² die. The result is a density of over 151 million transistors per mm² - above what TSMC claims is possible for the N4P process node. AMD really used some magic sauce here. Super interesting chip and architecture imho. What do you think?

Sometimes it's difficult to understand how big a chip really is. Until you put it into perspective. Like in this comparison of Nvidia's GB202 vs a Zen 5 CCD. Full RTX 5090 / GB202 deep-dive is coming soon!

Now more relevant than ever, with the news that Arm is revoking Qualcomm's ISA license: www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-10-23/arm-to-…

First Apple A18 Pro & A18 SoC chip analysis based on die shots from ChipWise. Big surprise: A18 Pro and A18 are actually physically different chips. More on my Twitter/X: x.com/highyieldYT/status/1841074082898452538
PS: If you are interested in chip analysis, there's a treat coming. Next video will be a Zen 5 chip deep dive :)

I know, I haven't posted in a long time... I hope this 25 min video about a little known technology called "Fin Depopulation" makes up for the wait. Plus, there are several videos in the works:
1. Zen 5 deep-dive (including real die-shots - I've bought a 9600X for that)
2. More about Lunar & Arrow Lake (Intel event early September)
3. Long term project: Nvidia Volta deep-dive (also based on real die-shots)
4. As soon as we get the full M4 line-up: a M4/Pro/Max deep-dive
And of course anything intersting that will pop up in-between :)
Let me know if there are topics you are intersted in too.
Cheers,
Max

Thanks @MooresLawIsDead for having me on Broken Silicon for a second time. Was fun, over 2 hours of silicon and hardware talk 🙌

I'm in Taipei right now and not only is it my first time at Computex, it's also the first time I'm invited to NDA pre-briefings. Currently attending Intel's Tech Tour and without saying too much, I can't wait to tell you all about Lunar Lake! There's a lot of really interesting architecture / design changes and I'm able to directly speak with the Intel engineers. Expect a deep-dive soon!
(ps: not a sponsored post)
