Honk if youâre an adaptable human being: July Talk present Live At A Drive-In, a full-length concert film. Originally performed in the unprecedented circumstances of 2020, which brought the bandâs high impact live show to a classic Drive In movie theatre in Ontario, Live At A Drive-In shows a band at the height of their potent creative vision and technical prowess. Under the summer stars, in a field surrounded by parked cars tuned into the broadcast dial, July Talk brought people together (but not too close!) at a time when impactful live music experiences were nearly impossible. A master-class of multi-camera live editing, creative direction and human resolve, July Talk and their talented creative community and crew presented an astonishing feat of performance and production. As seen in the bandâs feature documentary, July Talk: Love Lives Here, for the first time Live At A Drive-In will be available to watch as a complete concert film starting December 21st.

weâre over the moon to announce that weâll be performing live on august 12th + 13th at a Drive-In Movie Theatre near Toronto! weâve been working on this idea for some time now and it feels like itâs going to be a pretty special event. the thought that we will be able to perform and feel your company again is just too much. we canât contain our excitement. weâre going to premiere some unreleased music video stuff and play a full scale 90 minute live set where the audio is broadcast onto your car radio and the drive-in screens play a live multi-camera feed as well! car horn applause anyone?! due to the ever changing nature of COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be putting tickets on sale until closer to the event, but if youâd like to sign up for ticket updates, click the link below. weâll also be posting lots about it here on our socials.
