Our purpose is to observe & document rare/unusual long distance Tropospheric and Ionospheric Radio Wave propagation.
The Observatory is located west of The Rock Hill, NSW, Australia, with a good take off angle across most of the western half of the compass.
I hope to bring a video experience to provide an idea of some of the rare and interesting propagation conditions experienced here and provide other information about radio propagation monitoring.
For monitoring I mainly use - AIS Marine Tracking 162 MHz, ADSB Aircraft Tracking 1090 MHz, FM Broadcast 88-108 MHz, Amateur Radio Bands 144 MHz, 50 MHz, CB 27 & 477 MHz, 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi & was using 920 MHz Lorawan. VHF & UHF Digital TV. I have other experimental projects at times.
My Amateur Radio (Ham radio) callsign is VK2KRR.
If you would like to donate funds to help keep the observatory running, please contact me at the email below.
