You're not rich until you have something that money can't buy... is the quote of the day.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the channel over the last few years, to those who have given me their suggestions on content to create, what improvements they'd like to see, and those who have increased my passion for Transport, Design & Marketing & also bus drivers who have helped with my FRV projects too...

In addition to those who have supported & believed in me as an individual, helped greatly with increasing my ambitions & taught me to focus on what matters. You can never fail if you never start, and I'm glad I'm starting from experience, to be able to keep going, create new ideas & just keep going on this journey...

Thanks everyone

Absolutely delighted to have helped produce & distribute on-board signage for Gateshead Central's Bus Division. This collaboration has helped emphasise the importance of marketing the operators brand identity, coinciding with their aspiration of providing high quality, low cost transport solutions on behalf of their local authority partners...

Channel Update - January 2024.

Hello everyone, as many of you may have noticed, most videos relating to 'Full Route Visuals & Journeys' have been & will be receiving their own identifiable video thumbnails to separate these from the on-board video journeys showcased on the channel.

There will also be some more additional playlists to place each video in their correct categories, and also a more consistent approach overall to keeping on track with the organisational aspect of the videos on the channel.

In addition there is also my relaunched channel ‪@ctpextra‬ which showcases a multitude of on-board journey videos, basically clearing the backlog of videos that were pre-recorded over a period of time in the short term.

There are some really exciting upcoming projects for the channel later this year, which I'm personally hoping will help innovate new ideas, and help grow the channels strategic objectives much more effectively. Watch this space...

Thanks everyone

ENGLAND TO SCOTLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It was amazing to try out an adventure that has been on my bucket list for a considerable amount of time, and with the current offering of £2 travel per bus in England, it massively reduced the cost of these extremely long distance journeys.

Travelling during the national rail strike was quite a big risk factor, although however for this day there was actually very few people about in comparison to other times, and every bus connection was made, with a little time to spare aswell.

This adventure consisted of travelling up through the Scottish Borders via Otterburn on-board the very popular once a day 131 service operated by Peter Hogg of Jedburgh, then transferring onto their guaranteed connection service 20 onwards to Kelso. From Kelso it's the return journey via Berwick, boarding the Borders Buses 67 service, which seemingly has very stylish vehicles allocated & then from Berwick a 4 hour survival challenge on-board the Arriva X18 service, travelling in the pitch darkness, along many Coastal & Country roads...

There will be some videos coming up this weekend & throughout next week from this cross-border adventure & I hope you all enjoy these videos, as much as I enjoyed recording them...

It's hard to believe it's been nearly half a year since the withdrawal of services 37/73 in Sunderland and Washington, although feel free to have a watch of my final FRV of the route, which was actually the very last full departure...

THE BEST FIVE IN THE FLEET!

Every operator has vehicles that stand out from the rest, and in this case all five of these vehicles from Gateshead Central Taxis fleet are in the beastage category, which for a small fleet is hard to find multiple vehicles that perform fantastically.

Down below are the links to each individual vehicle's video, so that you can have a watch at how amazingly beastage they perform, it is quite hard to judge which one is the best seeing as they are all unique in different ways, and sometimes it's not just the bus being maxed out, but when it is just powering along, sounding absolutely brilliant!

In photographical order, the list includes;
V307KGW/MJI2368 - Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX400.

SL16YPE - Wright StreetLite WF.

YJ18DLE - Optare Solo SR M925.

YX21RPV - ADL E20D/ADL Enviro 200MMC.

LN20OPK - Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/Mellor Strata.

Feel free to comment down below on which vehicle type or individual vehicle is your favourite, seeing as this fleet has an amazing variety, in comparison to other operators who are trying to standardise their fleet with modern heeps of plastic...
