NOT AFRAID is one of the first duo DJs/producers in Vietnam, consisting of Howning and Monkey Rock. With the main genres of Progressive House, Electro House & Trap, the duo spreading their own message: “Don’t be afraid when you have music with you”
Howning and Monkey Rock met each other in 2016 when both of them reach the Top 10 of Vinaphone Spin Awards - the first awards for electronic dance music in Vietnam. Later on, NOT AFRAID launched their own radio show broadcasted monthly with guest mixes from the top DJs in the country.
NOT AFRAID had the honor to share the stage with the big names in the international EDM scene: “Lost In Space w/Marshmello, City Of Myths w/VINAI, Special Countdown Party w/Vicetone, Bamboo Plur w/Mashd n Kutcher”. The duo also performed regularly in the big clubs in Vietnam: 1900 (#68 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs in 2019) , The Opera Nightclub, Atmos Club, Kasho Club, MUSE…
