About
From the ashes of a previous heavy metal project awoke Poetica – a melodic metal band originating in late 2011, on the western coast of Norway. Heavily inspired by different genres and approaches to music, the band started its journey infusing 8- and 16-bit synths with gothic metal. Since its birth, its lineup has changed dramatically, and as a result the music has also been influenced accordingly. Poetica has over the years traversed through some of the different elements to combine with metal, and today write slightly more progressive and relaxed music – with the mandatory neck-breaking and mind-blowing riffs and rhythms we all love from Metal of course.
