“Yes, I am sinful. Yes, I need a Savior.”
Despite a Buddhist upbringing and skeptical loneliness, HeartCry Missionary Chanthea’s testimony of God’s saving work in his life demonstrates the power of simple faith in the Savior.
Pondering questions of life, existence, and purpose, Chanthea’s curiosity led to questions, and he came to an understanding of the gospel through an American missionary.
He shares: “I realized that, yes, I am sinful. Yes, I need a Savior. And I bowed down and put my trust in Jesus and believed in him. And He is my Lord and my Savior from that day on.”
Now, with a heart for the spread of the gospel in Cambodia, Chanthea ministers through sports, dormitory ministry, and in his local church.

Meet HeartCry Missionary Michael George.
Michael is a church planter and pastor located in Muntenia, Romania. He received his ministerial training through an intensive course at the Master’s Seminary and through the help and prayers of HeartCry Missionary Florin Stan in Romania.
Michael also found many helpful and trustworthy resources to further his training in biblical knowledge, such as sermons from Charles Spurgeon and books written by reformers and Puritans. He was sent out to plant a church by Hope Baptist Church, where Florin Stan pastors.
Please pray for Michael and what he describes as his "burden and responsibility to proclaim the gospel in Romania.

Meet HeartCry Missionary Milton Leiva.
Milton is the pastor of Reformed Baptist Church Mount Calvary in Palmira, Colombia. He received his ministerial training from seminaries, including Latin American Reformed Seminary and Decision Jesus Reformed Theological Seminary.
Milton teaches systematic theology and morning devotionals, along with his leadership of prayer services and the training of men for ministry. The city of Palmira, where Milton serves, is plagued by violence and drug trafficking, which can often create a distrusting and hostile environment to the gospel.
The challenges to the true gospel are further heightened due to many charismatic churches scattered throughout the city.

Please pray for Milton and his desire to “persevere over the years and form a local church of men, women, and children who love the Lord and are willing to live lives that glorify Him.”

A HeartCry missionary asks for prayers:
"Please allow me to give an update on what is happening in Myanmar now.
Myanmar is facing one more crisis: Floods caused by Typhoon Yagi! Since September 10, we have had heavy rains in many places.
On September 12, we saw floods and Landslides in many places.
The badly Flood-affected areas are Tachileik, Kyaing Tong, Heho, Kalaw, Mandalay and Naypyitaw, according to the local news. Hundreds of people died! Thousands of people are without food and shelter. Myanmar never faces this kind of horrific flood in Naypyitaw areas. According to the local news " This is the worst flood in Naypyidaw areas during the 100 years".
According to the trusted local news: 'Several sources have confirmed that there are at least 700 villagers have gone missing, with fear that everyone died after two third of their village have been submerged by the unprecedented flooding in Yamethin village located in Mandalay region of central Myanmar.
Image footage have shown the village being swept away by the inundation.
There are many reports about the deaths and missing across the country as the war-torn National is battling against the extreme flooding.'
Right now, many Christians are suffering from the floods and landslides in affected areas! Kindly continue to pray for the victims/IDPs due to the floods and Landslides! Also pray that God would turn this suffering to know and trust Him more. God is in control! We trust Him alone!"

Meet HeartCry Missionary Joel Hietanen.
Joel is the pastor of Agape International Baptist Church in Jakobstad, Finland. He received his ministerial training under the pastoral leadership of HeartCry Missionary Kyle McCartan.
Joel grew up believing he was a Christian because of his infant baptism. He came to realize the hypocrisy of this as he explains his testimony of true salvation:
“The depravity of man and total sufficiency of Christ literally threw my worldview upside down, forcing me to realize that Jesus is not just a good friend and a helper to get you through life, He is the only one through whom I can have eternal life. He is Savior and Lord.”
At Agape International Baptist Church, Joel felt the call to ministry, which was confirmed for him when the need for new leadership arose in the church.
Joel has recognized and grown in his spiritual gifts of preaching, teaching, and leading over the last several years.
He serves alongside his wife, Susanna, and has partnered with HeartCry since 2024.

Meet HeartCry Missionary Jabin R.
Jabin comes from a Muslim background. As a young person, she sought to be religious and conscientious – even involving herself in efforts to bring people of other religions to Islam.
But after meeting a Christian and engaging in years of conversations and questions, Jabin was saved. She began serving in an outreach ministry and demonstrated a passion for the evangelization of those around her.
Her desire is “to continue in sharing the gospel.”
She states: “Based on how Paul evangelized in different contexts, I am having conversations and taking steps to learn more about the context in which I am serving and the worldview of the students around me.”
Jabin is reliant on prayer as she evangelizes, explaining: “I have seen the effects and power of prayer in my life personally. Specifically, in my ministry of evangelism, I have seen the Lord work through my prayer and the prayer of those I am serving.
Because I have seen the Lord work in this way, I always prioritize prayer before going into an evangelistic situation. I rely on prayer and believe that I can't do anything without it. I see prayer as my weapon in this world, so I must begin my day with it.”
Please pray for Jabin and her desire “that the Lord will bring to Himself those whom I am evangelizing and give me the privilege of discipling them.”

Meet HeartCry Missionary Luis Muñoz.
Luis is a pastor of Reformed Baptist Church of Barquisimeto in Venezuela.
He received his ministerial training from the Latin American Reformed Seminary of Medellin. His current ministry involves biblical and expository preaching, nouthetic (biblical) counseling, and the discipleship and preparation of men and women for ministry.
He began in ministry in 2014, and has partnered with HeartCry since 2024. He and his wife, Olga Vanessa, have been married since 2005, and they are blessed with three children.
Please pray for Luis as he serves the Lord in the church with a vision "to be a missionary church preparing men to plant healthy churches in every city in the country."

HeartCry Missionary Miguel Burgazzoli shares encouraging news of God's faithfulness and grace.
His church, Iglesia Evangélica de Ciudad Alta, Spain, recently started a Bible school for adults, where they are studying prayer. They are also studying pastoral letters (1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus) with the church's men.
Miguel shares about relying on God for strength:
"The truth is that this work would be impossible without Christ. I give thanks to the Lord for continuing to give me strength to not faint, light to my dull mind, and so much encouragement and joy in the ministry."
Pray that God would raise deacons among the men being discipled.
