Hey all! My next video is well on its way, likely dropping by the end of this week. In the meantime, I just posted a new Retrospective to my other channel. These videos are where I watch an old one of mine and break down what I find it does and doesn't do well, all with the goal of making better videos today. In this one, I managed to talk for over 45 minutes about a video that's only 5 minutes long itself. Enjoy, and see you very soon with the next SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED! watch video on watch page

Hey all! Been hard at work on SPEEDRUN EXPLAINEDs still (expect a new on in the next two weeks or so). If you're looking for something to watch to tie you over for a little bit, I just posted the next Retrospective to my other channel. These are (as someone else put it) essentially "director's commentaries" on my videos, where I watch them with the lens of dissecting what they do and don't do well. I take notes throughout, trying to pick out exactly why certain aspects work or don't, all with the goal of making my current videos better. Enjoy, and see you soon with that new SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED! watch video on watch page

Hey all! Just moved and very busy with getting settled, but still staying busy with videos. The next SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED is very very far into production and should be up on Patreon in the next week or so. As for when it'll be up publicly, I can't say yet, but maybe by the end of July. If you're looking for something to watch in the meantime, I just posted a new Retrospective to my other channel, where I watch an old SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED and talk and take notes about what it does and doesn't do well. This month's video is on Prey (2017), which is a really dope game that more people should play. But that's besides the point, hope you enjoy and are staying safe! watch video on watch page

still regularly streaming and speedrunning fallout 4 any% attempts (every tuesday and thursday). mostly been focusing on the No Intro category of late. today i started working on incorporating some recent routing changes to the first stretch in diamond city (where we stack all the pants), and i ended up getting a sizable new record on my third attempt of the day (first two attempts ended within one minute).
also i tell a story about my horrible experience with my ISP today.

Hey everyone! Hope you've been doing well and staying busy. I've certainly been busy juggling both the next video and constant trips out of town for weddings (tis the season and age for many friends getting married). The video's coming along really nicely and should be out sometime in June. If you're looking for something to watch in the meantime, I recently posted the next video from my Retrospective series on my other channel. This is where I watch an old video of mine and take notes on what it does and doesn't do well, trying to learn from it and make better videos today. This one is covering a very pivotal video in this channel's history, my SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED of Dishonored. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback! watch video on watch page

Hey all! My next video is coming out VERY soon, hopefully sometime this week (it's already up on Patreon). In the meantime, I just posted the next from my Retrospective series on my other channel. This one is pretty timely considering the impending release of Doom: The Dark Ages, and is also the video where I break down the first SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED I ever made covering a speedrun performed by another runner.
This Retrospective series is where I watch an old SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED and breakdown what it does and doesn't do well, with the aim being to try and learn something to make my videos better today. Please enjoy!

Hey all! I've been finishing up next video, seriously very close to completion! It'll be up on Patreon in the next couple days. Not entirely sure when it'll be available publicly yet, but it's coming, I promise! In the meantime, there's a new Retrospective on my other channel! This is where I watch an old SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED and breakdown what I find it does and doesn't do well in regards to explaining the run, all in the effort of trying to make better videos today. This video goes over my old Fallout 4 speedrun to become a pirate. For the original being such a short video, I ended up having a lot to say. I'd love to hear your input and where you agree/disagree, or things you think could be improved that I missed! watch video on watch page

Hey all! Been getting back to working on my next video since returning from running All "Romances" at AGDQ, and I'm super excited for you all to see it! It's coming along really well and should hopefully be out by the end of February. In the meantime, I just posted a new Retrospective to my other channel where I re-watch and analyze my "Speedrunning the Fallout series back-to-back" SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED from back in 2019. There was a lot to learn in re-watching this, and I would love to hear where your thoughts might differ or what you agree with. watch video on watch page

Hey all, excited to announce that the next video is going to be the longest SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED I've made in over half a decade! I'm super excited for you to see it, which should be sometime within the next month. If you're looking for something to watch in the meantime, check out the new Retrospective I just posted to my other channel, where I re-watch and talk about my "Speedrun to overdose Mama Murphy". watch video on watch page

Speedrunning is often incredibly esoteric, which is a bummer. It often gets brushed off by many because it's largely confusing.
My goal is to change that.
By working with runners of a variety of games, the purpose of this channel is mainly to provide explanations of speedruns in real-time over gameplay.
