PSA to those planning to travel to the Philippines. Please read the newly revised travel protocol from PAL
1). FULLY-VACCINATED ARRIVING FILIPINOS AND
ELIGIBLE FOREIGNERS, regardless of country of origin:
• Shall be required to present a negative RT-PCR test
taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the country
of origin.
• Shall no longer be required to observe mandatory
facility-based quarantine upon arrival; but shall self-
monitor for any sign or symptom of covid for 7 days, with
the first day being the day of arrival; and shall be required
to report to the local government unit of destination should
any symptoms manifest.
• Must have any of the following proofs of vaccination
against COVID-19 that are recognized under existing IATF
regulations:
a. World Health Organization International Certificate of
Vaccination;
b. VaxCertPH certification; or
c. National/State digital certificate of the foreign
government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a
reciprocal arrangement, unless otherwise accepted by the
lATF
