in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
I would like to thank all those that have followed the journey of my brother's music for all these years - those who have supported, circulated and/or listened to Sakna since the band's music was first posted 15 years ago.
Although I am extremely proud to finally share the full 'De Syv Dødssynder' album with you all, I am also racked with a tremendous sadness that my brother could not be here to see this day. A decade and a half ago we would play music together, and now I listen to said music alone. I hope he knew how incredible he was, and I hope that you will too through his music.
RIP Solemn

Mid 2000’s Folk/Melodic Black Metal one-man project Sakna was the brainchild of Canadian musician Solemn. Loosely inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, the full-length ‘De Syv Dødssynder’ is the culmination of his life’s work, as he would take his own life in March 2011 after the writing and recording of the album was complete. In 2024, over a decade since its original creation, Sakna’s sole full-length has been restored and mixed to completion. Like a time capsule, it offers a glimpse into one of the most musically intricate forgotten gems of Black Metal’s infamous history.
