Rest In Peace ✌🏻 Today is the death of my 6 year old blue yeti 😢 she was a fine woman who has served me for years and today she left us 🥺 which sadly means I have to buy a new mic😑 thank god I filmed many YouTube shorts ! I will be posting a lot of YouTube shorts and engaging with other ASMR you tubers for this week! My mic is dead and I needa save money for it 😢 so next week there will be only YouTube shorts ! Small rant 😾 YouTube’s new update is going to affect small youtubers like me because, they will be placing ads on your videos and you won’t get paid for it , this is only if you haven’t reach the 4K watch time , so basically
1. They can put as much ads ( non skip able) too and they take your money 💰 and hard work
2.people who don’t know you or your videos are going probably get turned off by the ads being played and especially because ur a small youtuber , the ads will make people click off your video which can also hurt your audience retention
3. This is annoying because I feel like it’s another big hurdle for small youtubers to grow
I was actually close to be monetised but due to me privating my videos I didn’t know would take away my watch time , it’s all gone , so now I have 400 watch time which is fine it’s not as bad but upsetting !
In any case you wish to help me reach my watch time goal for youtube partnership , please watch my videos till the end ❤️
Anyways this won’t affect me and my passion for content creation however it’s discouraging
