Thirteen years ago tomorrow I uploaded a video of questionable quality to this channel called Xtal. It was my first upload. . . and it absolutely showed. Let’s be honest, some of those early ones haven’t aged very well. To mark the occasion I decided to finally make a list of the worst offenders on SAW II and update them. I plan on uploading several replacements over the next day or so, starting tonight. The originals will remain listed and I’ll link them in each video’s description for comparison. Let me know what you think.

That was the last planned upload on this channel. I’m not officially retiring so there may be occasional uploads in the future. No promises though.
The most FAQ on this channel has always been about my image sources. Other than a few rare instances (SAW I GIFs and my recent return videos), I’ve never had just one single source. Depending on the track, I may have a specific image in mind beforehand and go searching for it. Other times I’ll look through thousands of already saved images until I find something fitting or modify existing files until they suit my purpose. Unfortunately, I can’t provide a more specific answer because when I did just that about 10 years ago it led to a chain reaction of drama that resulted in half of my channel being taken down. That’s the only reason I usually avoid this question like the plague.

Channel update: I plan on uploading again in the near future. At the very least I’d like to reupload specific tracks with better images and finish certain albums and EPs. I’m working on a new setup and playing around with new software so I might even branch out into different formats at some point. Thanks for your continued support and patience and I’ll have something for you guys as soon as time allows. Keep checking back for further updates and replies to previous comments and questions.

I love all music, but Richard D. James has always been a standout to me. The man truly is a musical genius and this channel will be devoted mainly to him. All of my uploads will be made with the best quality music I can find.
