Didi Seven started over 50 years ago in a small garage outside of Stuttgart, Germany. Created after many attempts to make the ultimate stain remover, the inventor, Walter Willmann, named it after a childhood friend, named Didi.
Didi Seven sold very well across Europe in live demonstrations until it was brought to North America by an exclusive distributor who filmed several short infomercials in 1987.
Things took off from there and Didi Seven and it became a household name across North America. Didi Seven also became a huge hit on TV, print, and catalogs in over 40 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
In the March 2000 edition of US Consumer Reports, Didi Seven was cited as being "effective and very versatile" and "the best single product.”
In 2019, Element Media Direct acquired Didi Seven, reformulated it to make it MORE POWERFUL yet MORE GENTLE on delicate fabrics and set up manufacturing in the USA, China, and Europe.
