Looking for a fixed curb skylight (60x60cm) to be placed diagonally, to be able to fit with the roof stones. The flashing should be in 1 piece all around. Not very common here in Italy, maybe elsewhere in Europe? thanks.

Dear Friends, Today's video will be uploaded tomorrow. I'm on the road for a family visit and the internet isn't working.

Question about glass: anyone experience with vacuum glas? It's a thin glass (7mm) with similar insulation values as double glazing. Upside is that it's thin and light and you can use it in older window frames which previously had single glazing. In the Netherlands they use it in historic buildings with window frames build with putty. Haven't found suppliers in Italy yet... (it's not for the greenhouse, but for some old windows i'm restoring)

Let's talk about light. I'm looking for options to control the lights on the property remotely. So switches, dimmers, sensors, timers, what do you use? At the same time lights should just work with local switches as well, for when there are guests, or no internet connection. I know in todays world you easily get lost in apps, menus and touchscreens for the most simple tasks, so I'm looking for a system that is well thought through, compatible and future proof. Looking forward to hear your experiences with for example Phillips Hue, and other systems. (and yes, this photo is today. It's snowing again...)

Just a message i’m still alive. Hope you’re all well. I am still on holiday. The next video should be up on Sunday 4 Feb.
