Crunchy Nut Steam Films; what affinity does steam have with cereal? Well, a few years ago, I was preparing myself at home, ready to see 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, and downstairs, my dad shook a box of cereal and it sounded like the Castle approaching. I briefly jumped out of my skin thinking I'd miss it, then felt very silly, but the name stuck.
Welcome! My base is in the Midlands, from which I operate trips out to every corner of the country to film steam railtours, from York to Exeter, from London to Carlisle. My absolute passion is UK Steam Locomotives; I try my best to show them working at their best and looking their best. I film them as regularly as possible, both on the mainline and on preserved railways. So whether it be in the pouring rain, the hot sun, the loco be an A4 or a GW King, provided life/loco issues haven't got in the way then you can count on a video appearing here. Regards, Dan.
PS My favourite of the Big Four is the GWR, no apologies lol!
