Does your horse have shoes or do you keep them barefoot?

I was asked to film my cousins 'Farmers Fairytale' Wedding this week and OH MY it was BEAUTIFUL!!!
Tractors... Horses... Fields of crops... I should be able to post the full video on Thursday and a sneak preview will go out in this weeks vlog on Wednesday! What a busy time it is!!!

It was Bruce's Primary School Prom on Thursday and guess what?
He went on old Toby the 44 year old blind pony!
We filmed it of course!
I've made a start on the video and I'm hoping to have it uploaded tomorrow evening :-D
I know some people will think its upsetting to bring the old man out of retirement to do this but he LOVED every second of it. He reverted back to being his stallion self and stomped all the way there, swishing his tiny bit of a tail.
I am so grateful to have been able to record memories like this that will last forever X

Im currently working on a Youtube video that is based on a poem about the 'good old days' of keeping horses when we were children. If you would like to be in the video then send your old photos of when you were a kid with your horse or pony to essentiallyltd@gmail.com with your name and the name of the pony in the picture so that I can add you in too!
This is going to be a beautiful and rather nostalgic video and I would love as many people as possible to be a part of it. All photos (and videos if you have any from back then) must be sent to me by Friday morning 12th July to be considered :-) I don't think ill have many sent but it would be lovely to have at least 10 different people and ponies.
Cants wait to make this one!

We've had our farmland and our channel for 6 whole months now. To mark this milestone I am busy working through hours of footage to put together a 6 month montage, which will show all of our progress and how far we have gotten in that time. This image from about 4 weeks after we took on the land really has blown me away! I had completely forgotten how bad a lot of this was!

I am so sorry that I haven't posted for a while but my mental health has been SHOCKING and with birthdays and just everyday LIFE its hard to juggle everything that I should be.
I am recording a fab video tomorrow with an equine PROFESSIONAL specialising in massage therapy and I am part way through a new VLOG.
