I had signed up Vertical Challenge @Whampoa Dew on 26 April 24, just one day before the event which started for registration at 2.30pm onwards. Because of my last-minute enrollment, I was given bib number M-32 which is the last number for Men's category.

The last time I had participated in this kind of event is for Vertical Challenge 2019 @ Bendemeer Light. This is my first time participating in Whampoa Dew which is organized by Whampoa Community Club. The place to climb up the staircases is at Blk 78 Lorong Limau Singapore 320078 having 40 Storeys high.

After registration, we did some warm-ups and proceed straight to Blk 78 Lorong Limau. We queued up patiently accordingly to our bib number in ascending order. I was the last one to go for Men's category and from the start to the end. I was not able to overtake any of the participants in front as all of them are very fast !.

Once I reached the highest level of the block, I was greeted by MP Heng Chee How who put the medal over my head to signal I had accomplished this mission! Thanks for the memories!
