Welp. I was all set to upload a UHD recording of me playing FFX HD Remaster on PC, only to realize I have a 10 part series totalling around a dozen hours that I recorded from the PS3 version (Using Elgato Game Capture HD, if I remember correctly) nearly a decade ago....That I completely forgot about, somehow. OK, yeah, it being something I did nearly 10 years ago with little fanfare is a reasonable excuse for blanking on that. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
I wasn't really going to record any more in any case, but now I find that recording it at all was pretty pointless.

I know I rarely post anything these days. I'll probably play Redfall, so I'm a bit curious if anyone is interested in one of my standard 'First Hour [or so] of X' videos, assuming I can actually record it (it's honestly hit or miss whether gameplay recordings turn out).
Alternatively, any other game my few viewers would like to see? Keep in mind I don't bother with multiplayer games as a general rule, and the rare times I play them I don't record them (I think I did once or twice, years ago). Definitely no guarantee that I'll record anything for them, even if I happen to own them though.

How....very stange. In the last month This Tinker Bell Pirate Fairy trailer that I uploaded years back has suddenly exploded in view count. Over 1.6 million views in this period. Adds up to over 5 million views total (At the time I uploaded it even Disney hadn't posted a trailer for it, I think? At least, not a FHD version. pretty sure my upload has always had more views that the official one anyway).
I wonder why there has been a sudden upswing in popularity? Over 80% of the people who have found it stumbled upon it by browsing Youtube. Only thing I can think of is some major site, possibly even Disney themselves started talking about the Tinker Bell movies again, and it started a trend of recommending it on youtube. As an aside, if you like animated stuff and Disney in particular you should check out the Tinkerbell movies. They are one of their better Direct to Disc efforts. I picked up the first one on a whim over 10 years ago, I think. TBH, I need to re-watch them. I haven't seen them since I watched the final movie when it came out.
Naturally, not being my own work, I don't get ad revenue from the video. But yeah, it was quite a shock when I randomly decided to check my channel's activity to suddenly have so many more views than usual, and an additional 4000+ subs. I only post vids occasionally and I barely get views anymore, so at first I thought YT sent bad data XD
BTW: Tried to record Death Stranding. Got a crash after only a few minutes of actual gameplay, so that was a bust.

Welp, I tried recording Maneater for you lot, but between getting stuck in the graphics menu, and two BSoDs, I think I'm going to pass on that....
Shame, it is a pretty fun game, but I recommend that you either wait for the Steam release (About a year off, it's an EGS exclusive on PC for 12 months) if you're getting it on PC, or just wait a while for it to get some patches.
