Called To Mothering is a place where women can find encouragement and equipping in their God-given calling as mothers, along with Christian parenting and homeschooling help. I’m Marisa, a homeschool mama of two kids, wife to Gregg since 2003, and follower of Jesus. A Jersey girl (raised and grown in the Garden State), I’ve been transplanted with my family down south to Oklahoma because of my husband’s job.
My book, Bucking The System: Reclaiming Our Children’s Minds For Christ was released in January 2016. When I’m not writing my next blog post, I’m teaching the littles, moving laundry around, trying to throw together a nutritious meal, and praying for sanity as I juggle each of these responsibilities.
Called to Mothering is about trying to sort out what I’ve discovered about God through this journey of motherhood and an exhortation to other moms to follow me along the way. I sincerely hope it will give you encouragement, practical advice, and even some laughs!
