So Jon (yes that’s Jon 😅) just released a new cover song with his side project @dancefall_music. Not far away at all from ROL’s trance metal sound, because he covers Eurodance’s songs from the 90’s and the 00’s ! If you enjoyed Rage Of Light’s covers of Lollipop and Judas back in the day, you might enjoy that as well !

We’re super happy to announce that we’ll be performing live on the 21st of October in Musigburg - Aarburg (Switzerland) to celebrate the release of our new EP “Opaque” !
It’s been almost 4 years since Rage Of Light’s last show. After COVID and the lineup changes, we’re finally ready to get back on stage and what best occasion to do it than celebrating a new release ? 🤩
We’ll be sharing the stage of Musigburg with awesome Swiss bands that we’re looking forward to playing with :

NEW SIDE PROJECT FROM JON !!! If you enjoyed our cover of Aqua’s song “Lollipop (Candyman)”, then @dancefall_music might be for you !
ROL’s founder Jonathan just launched a new side project in which he will be covering Eurodance songs, of course in a metal way ! You can check out his first single which is a cover of the unforgettable song “Boom, boom, boom, boom!!” from the dutch band Vengaboys.
Jon says : “The cover of Lollipop was the first song we released with Rage Of Light in the beginning of 2016. I actually did the first demo of this cover in 2011… There are so many awesome Eurodance tracks and I always felt that they would work really well in this kind of trance / electro death metal that I enjoy making with ROL. But I didn’t want to turn ROL into a cover band, of course, especially since we already covered 4 songs (Aqua, Amon Amarth, Lady Gaga, Kate Bush) in different musical styles. So with Dancefall, I will be able to have fun with this “Eurodance guilty pleasure” both with the music and the videos because… well the lyrics of Eurodance songs are often quite something ! 😅 That won’t prevent me of course to keep writing music for Rage Of Light !”
