The market for UX designers, researchers, and writers is HOT 🔥 right now. I'm hearing crazy high compensation packages being offered for all levels. If you're considering finding a new job, NOW is the opportune time! If you're actively looking, let me help you get matched with companies in my network.

How it works:
1. Apply to join my Talent Collective: chunbuns.pallet.com/talent/ (Make sure to include your portfolio link if you're a designer!)
2. I'll be looking at every application and select a few to send to companies in my network
3. When there's a good fit with an employer, you'll be connected to the hiring manager via email

Who is this for?
UX/Product/Visual/Brand Designer, UX Researchers, Content Writers, PMs!

If your company is hiring and want to tap into my network of designers, sign up here: chunbuns.pallet.com/talent/

✨ New Video ✨ I knew making a multiple six figure salary was common in tech, but I thought it’d take 10+ years to reach that income bracket. In this video, I’m breaking down how tech salaries work and how much you can expect to make as a senior UX product designer: https://youtu.be/6e5ZG2QYjVQ

I had also made a video on how much I made as a junior to mid level designer a couple years back: https://youtu.be/FiGGIrgFatA

Here are some questions that have already been submitted by community members that we'll talk about:

There were many topics my design bootcamp didn’t teach me, and one of them was—how to handoff designs to engineers. In this video, I walk you through how I prepare my design file using annotations and user journeys on Zeplin: https://youtu.be/m2a0he54XAE

Other tools you can use are Figjam and Autoflow where you can copy and paste arrows to map out screen paths and behaviors. Tools are a matter of preference, but what’s important is that you provide a bird’s eye view of your designs for your engineers and product managers. Not only will this help increase team alignment, but it leads to higher quality products.

Let me know in the comments below what you'd like me to cover next!

I have joined the #GreatResignation to be my own boss! Leaving my cushy tech job at Instacart was not an easy decision but I felt like I needed a break from tech (for now), take some time to rest, and experience what working full-time on my design coaching business and YouTube channel would be like.

Building my own business would never have been an option if not for your support over the years, so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I promise I’ll be better about responding to your DMs and comments 😅 now that I no longer have to juggle two jobs.

I have so many valuable insights, tips, and tutorials brewing that I can't wait to share with you over the next few months. One of them will be held next week: I’ll be designing a mobile app in real time and share how I approach an ambiguous problem from ideation to hi-fidelity mockups.
