I'm a music junkie. Always have been. I bought a few vinyl records by the time I was 12, but it was cassettes and later CDs that became my dominant forms of music. Then downloads, then streaming. But now I'm back to where it all started, vinyl records.
So I'm proud to be part of the ever-expanding vinyl community on YouTube.
I love to talk about music. I also love to talk about creativity. My career started in the music industry. I worked for Caroline Records in the 90's and then moved into a music licensing role at ASCAP. Later I moved into the creative side of advertising and work as a freelance copywriter and creative director.
I'm also a songwriter. Just haven't found a way to get paid for that yet.
For years I thought all of my random knowledge about music was pretty useless, but I'm putting it to work here. I enjoy telling stories about the music, it's creation, and it's impact on me. It's ever evolving, and I'm glad you're here.
Enjoy.
