Everyone is looking at the obstacles you have to overcome and the levels you have to climb to get the big prize.
๐งฑThere's a first obstacle; a wall you have to jump over.
It's hard but not that much so 90% of the people take that step and you do as well. Now each obstacle becomes harder to pass.
๐ฅThere's fire you have to run through, roadblocks to jump over, walls to smash.
At any point, you can just quit because it's getting hard, and so will 99% of the remaining people.
But if you go through the fire and you turn around, now you know that everyone else will have to go through it as well to get where you are.

So instead of saying 'Oh poor me, this is so hard' - say 'Oh poor everyone else who will have to even try to go through the same process'.
Again, most people quit too early because they want to avoid the pain of pursuing something worthwhile and hard but honestly, I think there's much more pain in quitting and knowing you could have been something you're not.
Your loved ones ask you what happened - and you say 'I quit because it was too hard' - 'Others didn't, they are making money now, but I quit because it was hard'
No one can help a person that quits.
